Mikita Naidzionau was born in Pinsk in 1990. He began writing poetry at an early age. In 2006, he won a poetry competition at the “Days of Belarusian and Swedish Poetry in Pinsk.”
He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Belarusian State University and worked in radio. In 2015, he received the Zolaty Apostraf (Golden Apostrophe) award for the best debut publication in the magazine Dziejaslou. That same year, he published his debut poetry collection Razvytantsy (Farewells).
A songwriter and translator of global hits into Belarusian. In 2020, the song Da Vidna by the band VAL, with lyrics by Naidzionau, won the Belarusian national selection for Eurovision. He is also the author of The Beatles in Belarusianproject, titled “With a Little Help from My Friends.”
