Mahdalena Lajeuskaja

Born in 1981 in Poznan. There she graduated from Polish Philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in 2005. In her fifth year of studying, she participated in an annual Erasmus scholarship at the University of Leipzig, where she wrote about Konrad Celtis and the beginning of the Renaissance in Poland.

For a year she worked at the Edward Rachinsky Library, and in 2006 she went to Belarus as a Polish language teacher.

For the first time poems in Belarusian were published by “Dzejasloǔ” in 2023.

Lives near Mahiljoǔ.
