Born in 1973.

Poet, translator, essayist. Author of ten books of “adult” poetry and one book of poems for children.

Winner of the Polish PEN Club Prize for translations of Polish poetry and the Carlos Sherman Prize for translations of poems by Charles Baudelaire; winner of the Book of the Year award for the collection “Natatki tatki” (“Notes of the Father”) and the Natallia Arsennieva Prize for the book of poems “Shkola travy” (“School of Grass”).

Translates poetry from French, Polish, English, Ukrainian, Russian and other languages. Hadanovich’s poems have been translated into two dozen languages.
